Farrah Fawcett on The Howard Stern Show

As a longtime admirer of Farrah Fawcett’s work and legacy, I’ve always tried to keep this site focused on celebrating her talent, individuality, and the grace she brought to every stage of her life and career. Occasionally, though, preserving her history means acknowledging appearances or interviews that may not perfectly reflect the spirit of what this site stands for.

One of those moments is Farrah’s appearance on The Howard Stern Show. I’ve chosen to include this episode here because it’s part of her public record — and for fans and researchers who want to understand the full scope of her career, it’s worth making accessible. Farrah was a complex, candid, and fearless person, and even when the setting wasn’t ideal, she often revealed glimpses of that authenticity.

That said, I want to be clear: my decision to share this interview does not mean I endorse Howard Stern or his brand of shock-jock entertainment. Personally, I find his style and attitude repulsive, especially the way he often treated his guests — particularly women — as fodder for cheap laughs rather than thoughtful conversation. While I believe Farrah handled herself with grace under pressure, the tone of the show isn’t something I want to promote or associate with the spirit of this site.

In short: this post is about Farrah, not him. And even when the setting wasn’t worthy of her, she still shined.

Viewers should be advised that it contains material and behavior that may be uncomfortable to watch.

I'm curious as to what others think of this interview. Feel free to leave comments below.
